Atomic Cafe Munich (Friendly Fires Support) -...
As we arrived in Munich the streets were lined with tourists wearing stupid hats and leather trousers. Oktoberfest. München kotzt and all that.
The club had a predominantly sixties feel, and the idea that 370 ticket buyers could fit inside it was banal. The crowd was amazing and the temperature astronomical. Probably our loudest singalong this year.

This was surreal because we’re playing the same place in a little over a month. WHEN OUR RECORD COMES OUT. Woop woop. All good things come in twos. Or was it threes? No-one knows.

Day off.
It feels really odd sitting at home again. Soon everything will get back to being mad and then our album will be released and then we won’t stop touring for a while. This is the calm before the storm.
I think today we’ll get some Ben & Jerry’s and watch some bad movies.

Knust Hamburg (Natalia Kills Support) - 14.09.2011
Hamburg is definitely one of our favourite cities in Germany. Maybe it’s the ships, the little bars next to the Landungsbrücken, the fish rolls, the perils of the Reeperbahn, the flea markets, or maybe it’s just the amazing crowds we come across.
Dockville and then this? Keep it up, Hamburg.
