MUZ Nürnberg - 24.03.2012
Don’t take this the wrong way, Nürnbergers, but we’re not usually used to you going crazy when we hit the stage. But yesterday… wow. The sold-out MUK was insane and very, very summery and hot.

Giessen is another town which we’d never played in before. The club is inside a former Wehrmacht (the army that was about when that bloke with the bad moustache was alive) bunker, and from the outside it looks like a completely normal house. But, aha, in fact the outside walls and roof are built to collapse like a house of cards upon being hit by a bomb, and beneath these fake surroundings...

Museumskeller Erfurt - 10.03.2012
The last day of this half of the Summer Nights Tour. Bremen knocked us silly, so we were still reeling when we arrived to the Museumskeller in Erfurt. The club is, as the name would suggest, in the former beer cellar under a museum (Germany…), all stone arches, low ceilings and alcoves.
The show was incredible and possible the hottest ever, and involved some dangerous crowd surfing, riding...

Gebäude 9 Cologne - 08.03.2012
Back in Cologne! Woot woot! We love Cologne, and this was our first ever headline show in the fair city, so we didn’t know what to expect.
Gebäude 9 is one of those places which are awesome when full, and soul-destroying when empty, and fortunately, it turned out to be the former. We had so much fun! Thanks and thanks again to a crowd who knew all the words, danced ‘til their feet...
Schlachthof Wiesbaden - 07.03.2012
We left Stuttgart early an arrived at the Schlachthof in Wiesbaden. Schlachthof in German means “slaughterhouse” and the “slaughterhouse” is apparently structurally instable so they’re building a new one right next to it. We slept inside it though, being hardcore.

Schocken Stuttgart - 06.03.2012
Last time in Stuttgart we were in the Keller Klub with LAING, and if I remember rightly, it was a perfect night. Tonight we played Schocken, which is a place with a pretty high cieling, accommodating a gallery upstairs, which is always fun.
The concert was really good and REALLY loud. Lots of fun again.
After the concert we did a showdown between two kebab houses, one supposedly the best one...
Heimat Regensburg - 04.03.2012

Dornbirn (Austria) - 03.03.2012
Our departure from Switzerland was made easier by the beauty of the landscape we drove through on the way to Austria.
Strangely, the club was filled with familiar faces which we couldn’t place. Slowly it dawned on us that many had also made the trip over the border from Switzerland. Oh you, Swiss people! You shouldn’t have.
Tomorrow it’s back to Germany. Can’t wait for...

Things today went from good to great.
We departed from Augsburg and hills became mountains, copses became forests and lakes became Boden-motherloving-see. The biggest lake in the solar system or galaxy, or something. Apparently, it is rumoured that three countries meet there and bathe their extremities in the clear water.

Schwarzes Schaf Augsburg - 29.02.2012
The drive was incredibly foggy, the autobahn barely visible as we careered onwards at over 140 km/h, unsure whether we would even make it to Bavaria. We pulled into Augsburg and the memories came flooding back.
